I would never buy from Rooms to Go once more. Purchased a 2k living room set and warranty, and the lesser fell out of one of the sectionals, had a warranty rep come out, take pics, all to be told that less than 2 years old it's a not a manufactured problem it's normal wear and tear.. Um excuse me simply why did I buy a 300 warranty for your product to neglect.. and you not to stand behind a warranty or product. You can say what you like rooms to go but bad news travels faster and you definitely take lost a customer here!!

Please stay away from this company! Subsequently learning through an email my bedchamber article of furniture contained hazardous Atomic number 82 Paint I contacted client service. They are going to swap out the pieces that is not the trouble. They refused to conduct any kind of testing and provide me with whatever information about the levels of pb in the paint. Keep in mind I never asked for a refund/settlement etc. All I wanted to know is should I worry considering my 2 and 5 year old are frequently in my bed. They said there was nothing they could do....

I made a piece of furniture purchase and scheduled a commitment date. My window of commitment was 11:00 a.m.-iii:00 p.one thousand. had to pay someone to be at my business firm all twenty-four hour period to wait because the sales person said they never evangelize on time. I thought that was unusual, just he actually told united states they are never on time. All during the day I checked my text updates and they were even so scheduled but the fourth dimension got after and later on. They called at 12:41 to say they were about an hr out from delivery. We waited and waited and at effectually 4:30 I got a call that due to technical difficulties they could non evangelize my lodge on the day promised and paid for. I had a trip planned for the next twenty-four hour period and they could not deliver till the next mean solar day.
I had to cancel my plans and forfeit my deposit on my trip. I was not going to come up home from celebrating my 40th ceremony and sleep on the floor. My bed was already disassembled and moved out of the room. We did it because they were running late and we thought it would aid. I had to pay someone to come put my bed back together because I have a inability and tin't practice it. Now I take to be hither all mean solar day tomorrow. When I called wanting answers, the Macon, Georgia shop admittedly would not answer the phone for about an hour. Someone finally answered after I chose every option on their menu just to get someone. There was the normal nosotros are sorry story, and they tell me the commuter's married woman had a baby. I have no thought if they will really show up, merely I will never purchase a penny's worth of merchandise from Rooms to Go once again.

Quite honestly I don't believe their alibi. And I am more often than not a patient person, but this is some really bad client dis-service. Large companies should take fourth dimension to remember why they are large companies making lots of money. I hope they do something to recoup for the poor service, broken promises, and extreme inconvenience they cause. I guess they don't really think about where the food on their tables comes from. Recently, I splurged on a leather reclining sectional for my living room and furniture for our upstairs den. I have had HORRIBLE service the past iv weeks. I have patiently tried to resolve this matter merely at this point I don't take faith that this will be resolved without submitting this business organisation to BBB. The reclining portion of our sectional seems to be warped and off rails. This exclusive was purchased less than a year ago with additional warranty coverage. For iv weeks, I accept tried to schedule someone to support via the Customer Care Line, shop support, online submission for back up and no one has called to provide support. I've used the function on the Call care center twice with no callback ever occurring.
Today, I chosen the Sales Rooms to Go line and the call was immediately answered. I asked to speak to someone in management with no luck. When I discussed the matter with the person on the line, they informed me that the lag in service is due to the furlough of workers due to COVID-19. While I empathize, I find it a chip repulsive that people in this department were furloughed but the sales department seems to be thriving with an abundance of service- answered calls, flyers in the postal service, an exhaustive number of ads via electronic mail. Any and all aid would be profoundly appreciated.

My husband & I wanted outdoor furniture for our covered lanai. We had a seating area fix from BJ'due south that lasted for 8 years, but was dated. Nosotros fell in honey with Cindy Crawford's Hampton gear up. We drove from PSL to WPB after getting a brochure. We knew exactly what nosotros were looking for. The sales person told us that Ms. Crawford ever had the furniture in her homes for one year to be certain information technology was durable. She did not put her name on information technology unless it was the best. The cloth was Sunbrella, which meant it was for outdoors. Nosotros had endemic several large boats and were very familiar with sunbrella fabrics.
The sales person then strongly recommended the extended warranty. He said it was the all-time and would comprehend anything the manufacturers warranty did not cover. He said if y'all spilled something on the fabric that did non come out for whatever reason, they would automatically replace that cushion and the coverage was for 3 years.
Do NOT BUY THIS Program unless you have time to read ALL five pages before leaving the store and y'all fully empathize every word! Basically you are paying for them to endeavor and leave of roofing anything! Earlier we had this set for a year, which is non up till the finish of Sept. 2020... The cushions had to be replaced because they were breaking down & looked like we'd had them for years. Now they are turn dark-green, even though they are covered every nighttime and turned over and a ceiling fan is on all day.
By the way, we were NEVER given anything telling us how to take intendance of this sunbrella fabric. When I said this to the salesperson, he said he doesn't accept anything. We purchased a sofa, ii club chairs and an ottoman. Don't get me wrong, I do dear the look of what we purchased. I just don't like the fact that when I went to make clean the teak legs, the stickers under each stated these were solid wood, at that place were also inspection dates and inspection numbers AND...Hither IS THE KICKER, In that location ARE 3, that's correct three cracked legs. I of them has 3 niggling tacks in it where someone tried to repair information technology. So, for over $two,000 the salesman thinks he's gone to a higher place and beyond. I do Not believe so. I purchased a power reclining sectional, area carpeting, lamps, coffee tabular array and two finish tables in May 2020 for a two part delivery. Starting time office was delivered 5/26/2020, I concluded upward returning end tables due to them existence plastic not marble every bit Indicated. I went back to initiate the return and cancel coffee tabular array that was due to come up with the left arm facing recliner on 7/2/2020. Was told the recliner was now available and would exist delivered with new tables on half dozen/17/2020. The recliner was the wrong color and the wrong part to the exclusive I ordered. They sold my recliner out from nether me because someone in the warehouse tagged the piece that was delivered on 6/17/2020 incorrectly and now my piece is non available. I said that is unacceptable and they needed to rectify the situation immediately and have my recliner delivered equally promised on 7/2/2020.
I was finally told by GM Kelly that she sent my file to corporate and she never bothered to inform me nor call me back to update me on the status. Afterwards six days I was finally chosen past Becky in the corporate office and she said that my recliner isn't bachelor until August and I said, "That'southward not my problem. It's yours." I will non pay for it and to come take information technology dorsum. I said someone has to make the piece or deliver the piece gratis of charge in August for the inconvenience and she stated that is not the mode information technology works. That I wouldn't be NOT charged for an $800 piece of furniture. Well I'grand pitiful but with a 500% makeup on their furniture it's the least they can practice or at least offer it at their cost or Invoice price. That would be the right thing to do.
She stated I could come pick out another sectional. I said, "NO. You observe the piece in another warehouse," and she said I could only get it from the warehouse that's delivers to my area fifty-fifty though it may exist available at another warehouse, maybe in GA. She said they don't practice that. Well why NOT? You screwed upwardly and I'grand suppose to pay for a slice of piece of furniture that you failed to deliver as promised. NOT HAPPENING. YOU WILL NEVER Take MY BUSINESS OR ANY OTHER Business organisation OF ANY OF MY FRIENDS OR Family. We ordered our couch on 3/27/20. We were ok with it being delivered on 5/15/xx Bc of the pandemic. Then, we got 2 unequal pieces for which we accept tried to fix always since. Now it's half dozen/22/xx and we tin't get it fixed. Nosotros even went in person to the store and they just told us to call client service. Horrible customer service! I DONT Want 2 DIFFERENT COUCHES! Especially when I take to work from habitation bc of COVID.

My wife and I bought a counter meridian Dining room tabular array, bar stools and demote. It has been 5 years and the stools and bench look like antiques that have been in the family for years. Information technology started near 2 years after we purchased the furniture. My wife called and complained about how the chairs are peeling and they said information technology is out of warranty. We as well purchased a couch, love seat that reclines near a year later and does not hold up well. The sections where you lot sit broke downwardly so when you lot sit down on them it feels like you are sitting in a hole. Volition never purchase another piece from ROOMS TO Get once more. It's garbage.

So, now I understand why rooms to go has a 1-star rating. I bought a bookcase from their online shop thinking this will be an easy situation. I received the bookcase after a couple of weeks and noticed the box was damaged. I sympathize that shipping tin be harsh so I didn't think much of it. I opened the package the following morn to encounter that at that place was a large hole in the heart of the bottom shelf. No big deal, bad shipping happens.
I called customer service expecting a bones response. The customer representative told me that the special orders department strictly talks in email and that no one can go in contact with them. They then said you lot have to wait two business days for a reply. They then said you lot have to wait 5 business days for a respond. At present they are maxim that we'll become to you lot when we get to you. They simply want to respond via email and somehow their client representatives aren't able to make it contact with their special orders department. I have been waiting with a broken bookcase at my business firm for over a week. When their products come in undamaged, they are functionally fine and cheap. If you experience whatever issues whatsoever and need to talk to their customer service, they are garbage.

I had the absolute worst experience with Rooms to Get. I lodge my couch April 26, to be delivered May 27th. An entire calendar month after, but they said that was the soonest they could schedule me. Took May 27th off from work to be here for the delivery. I become a telephone call from a confused truck commuter b/c they tried to evangelize my couch to a golf form in VIRGINIA! I alive in Georgia, I accept never lived in Virginia, and I know my address. Despite this Rooms to Go tried to pass blame for their error to me. I received a new delivery date of June 18th betwixt 7am and 11 am. I am even so on hold, but I volition not be getting my couch today because in that location was an boosted revenue enhancement to transport the couch to the correct address, $21. They claimed to have notified me, but I never received those notifications, just the ane that said my burrow would exist here TODAY. They have offered me no compensation for the at present three days of piece of work I have taken off to be here for the commitment of my couch.
I got rid of my furniture in May expecting a new sectional, so I have been without piece of furniture for 2+ months. My large error become to Rooms to Go at International Mall, Miami. The salesman, very unprofessional and very disrespecful person instead of been a nice seller, he was merely reminding me during the showroom walk-through that the store going to close. Finally I found a nice salesman that he wanted me what I want. The original salesman came to me once again, because he was the person that received me when I become to the store. I refuse to get his help, because he did not assist me at all.
He was talking to me in an aggressive tone, and in that moment I asked for the managing director. When the manager came, I started to tell him what had happened with the salesman. Conclusion, the manager was even more rude, practically kicking me out of the store, telling me that the store was shut. That managing director is a shame for the company and does not have the capacity to work with clients. Eventually he and his salesman contribute to the deterioration and failure of a expert American company. The manager name is Manuel **. Rooms To Get must accept action and keep people similar Manuel ** out of your company.

I realized that the ottoman I purchased was non the right size for my living room. I asked if I could return it. They said non returns at all! I could exchange it, simply when I went around the store I could not notice annihilation I liked. They have a separate area where they accept patio furniture, I asked if I could exchange for patio piece of furniture and I was told no. I ended upwardly with an huge ottoman that does non fit my living room. The salesman was so interested in selling the article of furniture simply when it was time for me to substitution the ottoman he never came past to aid did non even call up that I could exist interested in buying more than furniture. I just had a horrible experience.

I purchased a loveseat, ottoman and chair last February 2020 ... in March almost iii weeks afterward the furniture looked as if it was 5 years old.... (it's just myself in my dwelling). The company agreed to replace the items after they noticed the wear and tear of the new furniture from their investigation. I was transferred back and forth from client intendance to the store when I asked about the replaced ottoman. Subsequently I received a text from the salesman I had to come up dorsum to the shop and pay another $100 over the $1996.00 paid in February. This store could utilize a course in splendid customer service and follow upwards with customers when concerns are made.

RTG return policy says "Items purchased online are permitted within 48 hours of delivery." I bought and received cocktail and terminate table 20 days before my exclusive (all from RTG) arrived. Once the sectional was in place I opened the end table to find that information technology did not accent well- at all. I want to return both the terminate and cocktail table. RTG internet sales rep refused to acknowledge my situation, and like a robot, continued to repeat the 48 hours policy. I am not asking RTG to ignore their policy, but rather listen to my situation and see if at that place is a mode to assistance. Helping, or figuring out a solution to a purchase gone wrong is Practiced Customer Service and what every shopper deserves.

I bought a dinner table that, when delivered, I saw many wormholes that looked awful. For the cost I paid I was expecting a grade A table saw. I requested a replacement merely when the new table came it was the same thing merely this time even worse (bigger) wormholes. I have to say that this visitor is consistent sending absolutely third grade article of furniture. Shame on them. I'll never be back and do not recommend visiting them.

After checking five days afterward to make sure it was flipped I was told everything was in stock and the first available appointment to deliver was the 12th (Friday). The Tuesday of that week I got a text confirming my commitment for the 16th which I was never told. And when I called customer service conveniently i piece of the set was out of stock and gets there magically on the 16th. If someone had chosen and said something I could have planned effectually information technology but not proverb anything and just making usa deal with it I have a problem with. I will never purchase from them again because if yous're gonna tell me one thing and practise another I don't take fourth dimension for that.

The start store in Sarasota blamed it on their computers and couldn't take our money but the salesman didn't even attempt to write upwards the gild. And so we went to Clearwater and wrote up the auction. We explained we live in a condo. At commitment nosotros were told 7:00 A.M. to 11 it would exist delivered. We explained the condo rules do let work or deliveries before nine:00 so they cancelled our delivery. We were told June 12, 2020 but on June 2nd we were told the first available wasn't until the 17th or the 19th and by that time nosotros would be gone and have left Florida. I said, "If you tin not continue your word and deliver information technology when nosotros are however in the state on the 12th nosotros'll take to abolish the guild."
So, they just cancelled the order. Only like that. Not one 2d of delay. No "let me see what we can do for you." Nothing. They could care less about the customer beingness happy or satisfied. I tin't non believe they stay in concern. We spent so much time before and during the ownership process and now take to commencement the process all over again. Do yourself a FAVOR. Exercise not become to Rooms To Go. Salvage yourself the time and aggravation.

The virtually horrible feel I have ever had with a piece of furniture store. Rooms to Get is a run, don't walk away as fast as you can. I purchased a leather sofa on 2/ten/19 and it was delivered on 2/xiv/19. Correct at 11 months the leather started peeling and coming apart from the fabric underneath. A leather sofa should never pare and come apart the way this i has in 2-3 years, much less 1 year. Information technology was clearly defective.
I went to the Rooms to Go where I purchased the sofa and they said, "Oh, no problem. Just file a claim with Fortegra, they will have care of information technology." That was a joke, they immediately denied the merits and referred me to the Rooms to Go customer service. Only this time it had passed the 1 year date. To say the least I was furious about the run around. I contacted the "customer service" (biting my natural language) and they promptly said the sofa was not covered nether their warranty because I purchased information technology in 2018....which was non the truth, I doubt they even looked it up.

The sales staff lied about delivery dates, the furniture was delivered on two dissimilar dates, and when it got hither three of the 6 pieces I ordered were broken, scratched and chipped. It'southward garbage!!! Now I accept to await two more than weeks for them to replace the cleaved furniture that they left here for me to shop it for them I approximate. The dresser is broken upward so bad that 3 drawers won't even work....what am I supposed to practise with that? Customer service will non respond my emails. When I call, I get someone from some other country who says they tin't aid me....is this some kind of joke? This business should be shut down!!!!

Run Away from RTG. On 3/29/20 I purchased three rooms of children's furniture and a exclusive from Rooms To Go in Wesley Chapel, FL; I worked with Sandra ** and Susan **, respectively. During the purchase I was assured and sold on the value of the "White Glove" delivery and installation I would receive of the merchandise purchased. I asked numerous times if the drivers would have and clothing PPE and was told they "absolutely" would. The delivery cost for the children's furniture was $279.97 and the delivery for the sectional was $99.99; the overall purchase was pleasant.
On 4/11/2020 delivery drivers arrived at my abode at 12:30PM and later left at iii:30PM; the delivery was anything but "White Glove." They arrived wearing masks and gloves; upon entering my dwelling house the leader installer took off his mask. When asked where his shoe covers were he stated he did not have any. Rooms to Get's Site states: "Commitment crews have been asked to use disposable gloves, FOOTWEAR COVERS, hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes for each delivery."
We asked them to remove their shoes since they did not have proper protection which they refused. Our ask of them to wear PPE really seemed to bother the commitment squad considering from then on they banged every wall up the stairs with the article of furniture leaving information technology and my home damaged; my home is new structure. I was told upon their departure that someone would contact me regarding repairs and replacement of the furniture; no one always called.
On four/xiv I called customer support; I initially spoke with Rebecca **. She informed me that the records of damage had indeed been notated onto my account and afterward offered a $25.00 credit for all that I had experienced. Rooms To Go admittingly KNEW almost the harm and after iii DAYS had done Null to address it: I asked for senior leadership. I was transferred Ashley **; that is the interaction that was near upsetting.
Ashley seemed annoyed to speak with me, her tone lacked business organization, empathy or basic professionalism. I asked for refund of the delivery fees on damaged article of furniture only and replacement of the furniture. She told me that the drivers were not required to wearable PPE, specifically not shoe coverings. Further, she stated my resolution choices were $100.00 because "No one (was) ever going to give me the delivery fee dorsum or (I) could accept the furniture picked up and yet not become the commitment fee dorsum."
I went to Social Media with my concerns and was flooded with responses citing similar poor commitment and client care experiences. I reached out to Corporate and was contacted by Nannette **, Presidential Assistant who confirmed that RTG is NOT mandating Any PPE during the pandemic but merely suggesting it to its delivery teams. (See below)
"Dear Mrs. Cruz, Our office understands your views and concerns. It is correct that the delivery companies are asked to have their drivers wear protective coverings if they are to go into the customer's home. However, information technology is not a mandate. In addition, delight understand that the delivery visitor would not allow their drivers to have off their shoes nether any circumstances as it would be considered a safe hazard. Under the global situation we find ourselves in today, the consumer has every right to deny entry or turn down commitment in order to reschedule for another time should they deem it necessary."
To date, I have non received the credit amount requested and the furniture remains damaged. I paid to accept the repairs made to my new dwelling and although having offered receipts was told I would non receive bounty for the damages since they were already fixed. How is Rooms To Go able to do business this way!?

We purchased a "leather" loveseat Sept 2018 along with the "extended warranty". In April 2020 I noticed an area in one minor department of a sewed seam starting to break downward, significant the "leather" is starting to chip abroad. On May seven, 2020 I chosen Rooms To Get to discuss this problem and the warranty of this production. I was transferred to Fortegra (extended warranty company) and was told this trouble is NOT covered nether either warranty (Rooms To Become or Fortegra). I can empathise if this were 5+ years erstwhile but this couch is But 1 year and 7 months in my possession! These companies should have worked together to replace at minimum this part of the loveseat, which tin can be removed considering of how it was congenital.

I purchased a dining set and when it was delivered it was damaged. And then I requested for replacement and, the replacement set was also damaged. And when I complained they said they cannot replace now and I accept to return since information technology is a quality issue with the supplier. Then I had no other option only return, but after my return was candy, I did not receive the amount I paid, I called customer intendance and they said as per return policy they cannot refund delivery charges which is very disappointing, and so please be aware when you make any purchase with Rooms to Go if y'all return for ANY REASON they volition not refund delivery charges and they do non give pick to pick/driblet furniture from the shop. This is only a fraud on behalf of Rooms to go.
